ResearchOps Platform: Scaling through systems
As research activity scaled across teams, core workflows—participants, artifacts, templates, and project visibility—became fragmented across tools and processes.
This limited visibility created duplicated effort and made it difficult to scale research effectively across the organization.
The Intelligence Dashboard provides a curated overview of active research streams and participant engagement, demonstrating the platform's ability to unify fragmented data into actionable executive insights.
Context
In a hyper-growth environment, research scalability was inhibited by fragmented tools and siloed data. This "insight amnesia" led to operational waste and redundant efforts, requiring a systemic shift in how the organization manages knowledge.
My Role
ResearchOps Initiative Lead
Directed the early strategy, workflow definition, and system design for an internal ResearchOps platform intended to centralize and scale research operations.
Facilitated collaboration across UX Research, Design, and leadership to align the platform around real operational needs and long-term team enablement.
Approach: System Design & Implementation
A systems-first strategy built on foundational pillars of operational maturity.
Centralized Research Management
Created a unified system to manage participants, research projects, artifacts, and templates in one place.
Standardized Workflows
Defined repeatable processes for research execution, improving consistency across teams.
Visibility Across Research Activity
Enabled teams and leadership to view past, current, and upcoming research efforts.
AI-Assisted Organization
Applied AI to improve how research artifacts are structured, categorized, and accessed across teams.
Strategic Impact
Participant Management at Scale
Centralized recruitment and participant tracking, reducing duplication and improving efficiency across the entire organization.
Research Visibility & Coordination
Provided a clear view of research activity across teams, reducing duplication and improving alignment on high-priority initiatives.
Standardized Research Practices
Introduced templates and workflows to ensure consistency across studies, allowing for easier insight comparison and aggregation.
AI-Supported Organization
Used AI to improve how research artifacts are structured and accessed, making knowledge retrieval significantly more intuitive.
Operational Impact
Reduced duplicated research efforts across teams
Improved visibility into ongoing and completed research
Increased reuse of existing insights
Enabled more consistent execution of research workflows
What This Demonstrates
"Building systems is not about replacing research—it’s about creating the conditions for higher-impact work. Operational design becomes the multiplier for research effectiveness."
